Anthony Rizzo
As an Independent Candidate for the Town Supervisor of Monroe, I will bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to the community. As a lifelong Public Servant, I proudly served Monroe as a First Responder and Chaplain for many years and served during 9/11. Most notably, I was elected as Highway Superintendent in 2012 and served for 4 years. It's during this time that I managed Monroe's animal shelter, building and maintenance departments, parks and lakes, and other necessary functions of the Town. I led efforts to improve road safety and to make recommendations to Town officials for all necessary upgrades. During Super Storms Irene and Sandy, I worked directly with FEMA to restore power and procure over one million Federal dollars to Monroe's budget. I was responsible for making operations more effective and efficient and saved the Town precious taxpayer dollars. As a proud Independent, I am committed to putting Monroe residents first - beyond party lines and political agendas. My campaign is built on transparency, accountability, tax reform, and a deep belief that local government should serve the people, not itself. I have a proven track record of hands-on leadership and community engagement, and I am ready to bring practical solutions and a fresh perspective to our community.
